Ethan Azarian

Born and raised in Vermont, Ethan now makes his living as a professional

artist in Austin, Texas. He sells his work locally out of his home (the In

House Gallery), restaurants, cafes and galleries (outside Austin). As a

self-taught artist, Ethan takes pleasure in the process of using color and

composition and hard work to achieve the desired end result.

 

 

Noel Waggener Design/Subculture Press

Noel Waggener is a self-taught graphic artist who has been producing artwork since 1995. His interest in record collecting and ephemera inevitably has a direct connection to and influence on his work. He founded SubCulture Press in 2002 to give name to the series of silkscreen prints and packaging projects he'd designed that incorporate "lost" and "forgotten" subcultural imagery he believes can and should be re-presented in contemporary context. As a graphic designer, Noel specializes in individual and organic designs for unique individuals and organizations.

KOOP 91.7 FM

KOOP is a community radio station owned and operated by its members. Any member of the community can apply to produce a radio program, and KOOP provides facilities and training. KOOP has about 60 different locally-produced programs airing every week, in time slots of 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes. Each of these programs is produced by an individual member or by a collective of members. KOOP provides a diverse array of programming, emphasizing programs that deal with local issues and/or serve communities which are under-served by the mainstream media. We generally schedule music programs during the day, and news/public affairs programs in the late afternoon..

We have and always will be a ”zine that supports the Austin Scene.“ And all that entails.  The Austin Daze is a local entertainment paper that ”BRIDGES THE GAP“ between local, national and international personalities, events, reviews and everything else under the sun. We cover much music, but we do not stop there.
